Kamila Hurnaum

“Having bathed in the artistic domain since childhood I dedicated most of my life to creating art. I have also been teaching for 20 years in a secondary school. I dedicate my free time to teaching kids and adults who are passionate about art. I am a graduate of the Mauritius Institute of Education and the University of Technology, Mauritius. I have acquired skills in teaching visual art and have thereafter specialized in Graphics Design.

Both haven’t helped a lot in developing my skills as a painter. Most of my knowledge in fine arts was acquired through workshops with other artists and a few online lessons. I think that learning art is an ongoing process. We never cease to find new techniques of self-expression. Today I specialise in painting, ranging from oil painting to aquarelle. I am actually learning sculpture which I wish to incorporate in my future creations.“
