Teens – Inner Compass: Exploring Identity & Sensitivity

To help teenagers explore identity, emotions, and self-expression through poetry and creative writing in a safe and supportive space.
To develop sensitivity and self-awareness by listening to one’s inner voice and reflecting on personal experiences and influences.
To encourage confident experimentation with language, metaphor, and creative form, strengthening each participant’s unique voice.

A poetry aficionado, Rebecca led workshops in collaboration with Caudan Arts Centre titled “Exploring Creativity through Poetry” for children and teenagers in 2024. A creative writing workshop for young adults titled “Halfway down the river”, during the centre’s Youth Arts Festival in February 2025. And most recently, metaphor-inspired workshops, “The Stone and The River” for children and caregivers, and “Leaf in The Wind” for teenagers in December 2025.
