29th edition of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial – the theme of this edition is ‘Promoting Health and Dignity Together’, emphasizing that the health and well-being of an individual cannot be achieved without respecting a person’s dignity and promoting and protecting the human rights of all. The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is one of the world’s oldest and largest grassroots mobilization campaigns for HIV awareness in the world. It is much more than just a memorial. The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial serves as a community mobilization campaign to raise social consciousness about HIV and AIDS.

The theme of the 2012 edition of ‘La Fête du Pain’ will be centred on bread originating from other places of the world. The traditional exhibitions, sales and demonstrations will be livened up with a world tour of different types of breads as well as a variety of activities.
