With nearly 200 seats each for the Star 2 and Star 3 theatres, and 24 VIP seats for the Premium theatre, the Star cinema offers a premier viewing experience. From its comfortable seats to its state-of-the-art sound system and digital screens, it’s one of the best places to experience your passion for films.

But before you watch the opening credits, there is an essential stop: the snack stand. Whether you are a fan of candies, soda, or salted popcorn, you’ll find what you need there to have a great time at the movies!

A Premium Experience

For those after the best viewing experience possible, the Caudan’s Star cinema offers a private premium theatre (which can be privatised) which is the first of its kind in Mauritius. Available on reservation only, this theatre will truly transform your cinematic experience.

Before the screening, you can enjoy a drink in an intimate lounge before proceeding to the theatre and choosing one of the 24 seats available. With the possibility of being converted into beds, and with duvets and pillows available on request, these seats turn a trip to the cinema into a magical experience! A selection of snacks and refreshments is also available in the theatre.
