Rahul Suntah is an internationally acclaimed piano prodigy, composer and music producer known for redefining the possibilities of the piano. Following the success of last year’s sold-out debut edition of Piano Fantasia and many sold out shows around Mauritius, Rahul returns with an expanded new chapter of the show ahead of the release of his debut piano album of the same name in September 2026.

This new show will feature his celebrated piano arrangements of Pop, Bollywood and Sega hits, iconic film scores, and a larger selection of original compositions from his upcoming album, alongside audience favourites such as Interstellar, Für Elise Reimagined, Gulabi Aankhen, Saiyaara, As It Was, Dodo Baba and his original works Paradise Island, Heal and Aurora, all combined together with eclectic animated visuals working in synergy to tell a story and further immerse the audience into his musical world.

Rahul began learning piano at the age of 8 in Mauritius and received classical training at the Frederic Chopin Conservatory of Music before graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Technology from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). He later completed a Master’s degree in Film and Television Composition on scholarship at the University of Bristol in 2021.

Beyond his academic background, Rahul has built an international online following for his distinctive piano arrangements and compositions, becoming recognised for his innovative approach to the instrument. His performances and videos have accumulated millions of views and over 100,000 cumulative followers across social media platforms, while also earning attention from major international media outlets including the BBC, ITV, e.tv, Classic FM and Right This Minute.

Blending Classical and Popular music through unconventional piano extended techniques, looping technology and synth integration, Rahul transforms the piano into a complete one-man-band experience. His musical versatility allows him to seamlessly incorporate genres such as Electronic, EDM, Jazz, R&B, Rock, Bollywood, Sega and many more into his performances while further showcasing the fluidity of this instrument.

Over the past few years, Rahul has achieved several notable milestones abroad, including winning the UWE Bristol Talent Show, having his original track Paradise Island featured among the top tracks of 2021 on BBC Music Introducing, performing at the prestigious Manchester Cathedral, headlining concerts in Bristol and London, and opening the Amsterdam Maandag Award Show after appearing in their television advert in 2022.

Rahul also had 5 sold-out concerts in Mauritius so far, regularly performs with the French and Mauritian based Moris Orkestra for their yearly Orchestra Academy, was nominated for The Outstanding Young Person Award 2025 by JCI Mauritius and collaborated with internationally renowned Indian vocalist Rajesh Panwar in February 2026.

Après le succès retentissant de la première édition de Piano Fantasia, jouée à guichets fermés l’année dernière, ainsi qu’une série de concerts complets à travers l’île Maurice, Rahul revient avec un nouveau concert encore plus ambitieux, en prélude à la sortie de son tout premier album pour piano du même nom, prévue en septembre 2026.

Ce nouveau spectacle mettra en lumière ses célèbres arrangements pour piano de titres Pop, Bollywood et Sega, des musiques de films emblématiques, ainsi qu’une sélection enrichie de compositions originales issues de son prochain album, aux côtés des morceaux favoris du public tels que Interstellar, Für Elise Reimagined, Gulabi Aankhen, Saiyaara, As It Was, Dodo Baba, ainsi que ses œuvres originales Paradise Island, Heal et Aurora. L’ensemble sera sublimé par des visuels animés éclectiques, conçus en parfaite synergie avec la musique afin de raconter une histoire et de plonger davantage le public dans son univers artistique.

Rahul découvre le piano à l’âge de 8 ans à Maurice et suit une formation classique au Conservatoire de Musique Frédéric Chopin avant d’obtenir une licence en Music Technology à l’Université de West England (UWE Bristol). Grâce à une bourse d’études, il poursuit ensuite un master en composition pour le cinéma et la télévision à l’Université de Bristol, qu’il obtient en 2021.

Au-delà de son parcours académique, Rahul s’est forgé une audience internationale grâce à ses arrangements et compositions uniques pour piano, se distinguant par son approche innovatrice de l’instrument. Ses performances et vidéos cumulent aujourd’hui plusieurs millions de vues ainsi que plus de 100 000 abonnés sur les réseaux sociaux, attirant également l’attention de grands médias internationaux tels que la BBC, ITV, e.tv, Classic FM et Right This Minute.

Fusionnant musique classique et populaire à travers des techniques pianistiques étendues, l’utilisation du looping et l’intégration de synthétiseurs, Rahul transforme le piano en une véritable expérience de one-man-band. Sa polyvalence musicale lui permet d’intégrer avec fluidité des genres tels que l’Electronic, l’EDM, le Jazz, le R&B, le Rock, le Bollywood, le Sega et bien d’autres encore, démontrant toute la richesse expressive et la versatilité de l’instrument.

Ces dernières années, Rahul a été récompensé par plusieurs distinctions et accomplissements marquants à l’international. Il remporte notamment le UWE Bristol Talent Show, voit son morceau original Paradise Island sélectionné parmi les meilleurs titres de 2021 par BBC Music Introducing, se produit dans la prestigieuse Manchester Cathedral, donne ses propres concerts à Bristol et à Londres, et ouvre le Maandag Award Show à Amsterdam après avoir participé à leur campagne publicitaire télévisée en 2022.

À Maurice, Rahul a déjà présenté cinq concerts joués à guichets fermés. Il se produit également régulièrement avec le Moris Orkestra dans le cadre de leur Académie d’Orchestre annuelle, a été nommé parmi les finalistes pour le Outstanding Young Person Award 2025 par la JCI Mauritius, et a collaboré en 2026 avec le chanteur indien de renommée internationale, Rajesh Panwar.
