He experimented on his own, then with young ensembles, and was already very serious about it. Soon, as a teenager, he was being paid to perform and play. Manu Desroches is now twenty-nine years old, and curiously, his music career spans over more than a decade. He has worked, played, and toured both nationally and internationally with Mauritian music giants. He does not limit himself to specific genres: traditional percussion, jazz fusion, blues, oriental, pop, and has experimented with unconventional compositions.
