For their final performance, the adults of The School dive into the hilarious world of Georges Feydeau with An Absolute Turkey, a riotous French farce bursting with romantic mishaps and escalating chaos. Known for its quick pacing and comic precision, Feydeau’s work challenges actors to embrace numerous funny and absurd situations – all of which this ensemble takes on with enthusiasm. In this adaptation, several actors share the same roles, adding an extra layer of playfulness to the show.

Throughout the year, the adult cohort has explored a broad spectrum of theatre practice: bold improvised scenes, Shakespeare and dramatic literature, reflective social theatre pieces and intimate small-scale performances that have strengthened their craft.

They now bring all these skills together to experiment with a completely different style for their final performance through this spirited production.
