Performs – inter alia – the following duties:
- Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by the Stewarding Supervisor
- Assists in keeping a restaurant, bar, or lounge clean and sanitary, assists in
cleaning dishes and tends to customers’ needs. - Clean and wash dishes according to the established performance standards.
- Clean and wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils according to
performance standards. - Empty rubbish bins according to scheduled garbage runs.
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Exercise careful use of operating supplies in order to reduce spoilage and
wastage. - Properly and safely stores chemical products
- Follows health and safety standards and complies
The above list is not exhaustive and the job holder may be asked to perform any other cognate duties incidental to his/her job.
